The Orlando Magic have had a forgettable season so far but they’ve won three of their last five games and will be looking to bounce back after Friday’s 120-103 road loss at Minnesota. Nikola Vucevic led the team with 22 points on 10 of 16 shooting, Evan Fournier added 21 points with four assists while Terrence Ross chipped in with 13 points off the bench. As a team, the Magic shot 47 percent from the field and nine of 27 from the 3-point line but it was like they just ran out of gas as they scored just 35 points in the second half after exploding for 40 points in the first quarter. Aaron Gordon finished with just 10 points and six assists and the Magic got little to no support from their bench. With the loss, Orlando dropped to 17-21 overall and 7-10 on the road.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers have been in pretty good form lately as they’ve won five of their last eight games and they will be looking to build some momentum after taking down the Suns in a 121-111 road win on Friday. Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams each scored 21 points, Marcin Gortat added 18 points with 13 rebounds while Tobias Harris and Patrick Beverley each scored 16 points. As a team, the Clippers shot a healthy 51 percent from the field and 10 of 24 from the 3-point line as they outscored the Suns by 38-19 in the first quarter before taking a 68-44 lead going into halftime to put the game to bed early. With the easy win, Los Angeles improved to 22-16 overall and 10-10 on the road.

Looking at the betting trends, the Magic are 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven Sunday games, 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record. The Clippers are 4-1 ATS in their last five Sunday games, 4-1 ATS in their last five games following an ATS win and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall.
Head to head, the road team is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings, the under is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings and the Magic are 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings in LA.
The Magic haven’t been playing too bad lately, but they didn’t look good in their blowout loss to the Timberwolves on Friday so they will be keen to bounce back, but they are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and just 2-5 ATS in their last seven against teams with winning records. The Clippers are building some momentum with five wins in their last eight, they were clinical in their big win over the Suns and they’ve already beaten the Magic by 120-95 back on Nov 2. With that being said, I’m going with the Clippers to take care of business with a win and cover at home.
