The Milwaukee Bucks have been in great form as they’ve won 11 of their last 13 games and they will be looking to stay hot after taking down the surging Rockets in a 116-109 road win on Wednesday. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 27 points, 21 rebounds and five assists, Malcolm Brogdon added 24 points while Khris Middleton chipped in with 15 points and four assists. As a team, the Bucks shot 48 percent from the field and eight of 27 from the 3-point line as they escaped with the narrow win after taking control of the game in the third quarter where they outscored the Rockets by 38-23. No one could stop James Harden who poured in 42 points, but the Bucks were great on defense to hold the rest of the Rockets to just 34 percent shooting from the field. With the win, Milwaukee improved to 29-11 overall and 10-7 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards have been in decent form as they’ve won four of their last six games after blowing out the 76ers in a 123-106 home win on Wednesday. Bradley Beal led the team with 34 points and five assists, Otto Porter Jr. provided the spark off the bench with 23 points while Trevor Ariza chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Wizards shot a healthy 54 percent from the field and 13 of 27 from the 3-point line as they never looked threatened after starting strong to take a 63-48 lead going into halftime. Tomas Satoransky finished with four points and 11 assists in the starting point guard role but with John Wall out, the offense went through Wall who thrived. With the easy win, Washington improved to 17-25 overall and 12-7 at home.
Looking at the betting trends, the Bucks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, 4-1-1 ATS in their last six road games and 7-1 ATS in their last eight games overall. The Wizards are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games, 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games against a team above .600 and 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall.
Head to head, the under is 6-0 in the last six meetings, the underdog is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings and the road team is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings.
The Wizards have found a bit of form lately with four wins in their last six games and they will be feeling confident after blowing out the 76ers on Wednesday, but they’re going up against the league-leading Bucks who have won 11 of their last 13 games. It’s tempting to take the Wizards with the points as they’ve claimed double-digit wins as underdogs against the Thunder and the 76ers this week but the Bucks are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games and I think they build on that with another win and cover here.
