The Saints earned their first playoff berth since the 2013 season, and they have a chance to win the NFC South title. Tampa Bay coach Dirk Koetter could be fired after a very disappointing season. (Butch Dill/AP)

The New Orleans Saints earned their first playoff berth since the 2013 season, but they’re looking for more. The Saints can capture the NFC South championship with a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday (1:25 p.m. PT/4:25 p.m. ET, FOX, DirecTV).

You can watch the live stream on the NFL’s mobile app or DirecTV’s NFL app. If the NFL Network is part of your cable package, you can also live stream the game through the NFL app on XBox, Apple TV, or Roku device on your TV.

The Saints (11-4) have used a young but opportunistic defense and a punishing running game spearheaded by Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara to earn a playoff spot. The Saints still have ageless quarterback Drew Brees will probably end the 2017 with less than 30 touchdown passes for the first time since the 2007 season – he has 22 touchdown passes through 15 games – but the Saints haven’t needed Brees to pass them to wins in 2017.

The Buccaneers (4-11) have lost five straight games, but their last four losses have come by a combined margin on 15 points. They are still playing hard despite their dismal record, which reflects well on coach Dirk Koetter. That doesn’t mean Koetter isn’t on the hot seat, because the seat grows warmer as the end of the season nears. Koetter said the constant speculation about his job status has been a distraction to the team.
