The Timberwolves are 5-13 ATS in their last 18 Friday games, 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. NBA Southwest and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Pelicans are 0-8 ATS in their last 8 Friday games, 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Timberwolves are 3-8 ATS in the last 11 meetings in New Orleans and 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings. The under is 9-3 in Pelicans last 12 home games. The under is 5-2 in Timberwolves last 7 overall.
With this line, I’m going to assume that Anthony Davis is back for the Pelicans. We’ve been fading the Minnesota Timberwolves often this season, as they continue to play with no effort defensively and are losing by an average of five points in their last five games. With their best player back in the lineup, the Pelicans have an offense that can get whatever they want against this Minnesota defense, and they’re winning by an average of 4.2 points at home this season. I’ll lay the chalk with the Pelicans at home.
