Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts in NFL preseason: Time, score, TV channel, how to watch live stream online

The Cleveland Browns are this year’s team with a buzz going into the 2019 season. They added talented wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. to give rising quarterback Baker Mayfield a big-time target. The Browns face the Indianapolis Colts in a preseason game Saturday afternoon (1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET, NFL Network).

The Browns (7-8-1 in 2018) posted their best record since they went 10-6 in 2007. The Browns have added talent during the offseason, including Beckham and running back Kareem Hunt on offense and Olivier Vernon and Sheldon Richardson on defense. Beckham isn’t expected to play as he nurse a reported mild hip injury.

The Colts (10-6 in 2018) got quarterback Andrew Luck back on the field and earned a playoff berth last season. However, general manager Chris Ballard said Luck now has a high ankle sprain. Luck has not participated fully in training camp and isn’t likely to play at all during the preseason.

How can I stream my local team’s NFL preseason games?

For teams in your local market — Jets and Giants fans in New York, Cleveland fans in Ohio, and so on — you’ll be able to watch your local team’s preseason games on a major local network channel (ABC, CBS, Fox or NBC; note that CBS is the parent company of CNET).

Many live TV streaming services — including DirecTV Now, Fubo TV, Hulu with Live TVPlayStation Vue and YouTube TV — carry one or more local networks, so they’re the best bet for cord cutters who don’t want to use an over-the-air antenna.

The catch is that not every service carries every local network, so check each one using the links below to make sure it carries the network you want in your area.

  • DirecTV Now
